Why we have this policy
AI is at the core of what we do. This policy explains how we use it responsibly, so our clients and their customers know what to expect.
Transparency
- We recommend that every AI receptionist identifies itself as a virtual assistant, and we configure agents to do so unless the client instructs otherwise and the law allows it.
- Callers are told when calls may be recorded.
- Anyone who asks to speak to a person is transferred or offered a callback.
Human oversight
- Clients approve scripts, messages and booking rules before launch.
- Agents escalate complex, sensitive or urgent matters to a person.
- We review conversations regularly and correct errors.
Boundaries
- Our agents do not give medical, legal, financial or other regulated professional advice.
- We do not build systems designed to deceive, manipulate or discriminate against people.
- We do not use AI to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on individuals without human review.
Data and model training
We use the business and API offerings of established AI providers, such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and Microsoft. According to their published terms, these services do not use customer data to train their models by default. We do not use one client’s data to improve systems for another client.
Accuracy
AI can make mistakes. We design systems with confirmation steps, for example reading back booking details, and monitor outcomes. Clients remain responsible for decisions they make using AI outputs.
